Founded and led by entertainment industry visionary Michael Cohl, CPI is a world leader and innovator in full service global touring, having produced some of the largest grossing tours in history, including the Rolling Stones; Pink Floyd; U2; Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young; David Bowie; and Michael Jackson. CPI has also successfully created new revenue streams around the tours that it produces, such as VIP ticketing, fan clubs, merchandising and DVDs. At present, CPI is the producer of the Rolling Stones' A Bigger Bang record-breaking world tour, Genesis' Turn It On Again North American Tour, and The Who's world tour
Most recently, CPI announced that it will present Barbra Streisand for her first ever European concert tour, kicking off in Rome, Italy on June 15, 2007. Her 2006 North American tour broke box office records in a staggering 14 of the 16 venues she played. She already held, and still holds, the record in the remaining 2 venues.
"It is an incredible honour to bring Barbra Streisand, certainly the greatest female performer of all time, to Continental Europe for her very first concert tour," said Michael Cohl. "It is an amazing show - a once in a lifetime experience not to be missed."
